Visiting our friend Phil had been a plan for quite some time, but we finally got our butts to Germany on Eurostar train. Flights were eye-wateringly expensive and so we decided to take a Eurostar adventure.
The plan : Eurostar from St Pancras International to Düsseldorf with changes in Brussels Midi and Cologne.
