It’s the way the industry is going; a fracturing of the traditional economy product becomes the norm. Instead of its traditional three cabin model (Economy, Premium Economy and Upper Class) Virgin Atlantic will be breaking Economy down into three different fare groupings, each with its own benefits and rules. So let me introduce Virgin’s new… Continue reading Virgin Atlantic to Launch Three New Ways to Fly – Meet Virgin’s New Economy
“Ladies and Gentleman of Mad Monkey Boracay, there are free shots at the bar. Let’s go!” So echoes the call that pierces the air every hour while the bar is open at Mad Monkey Boracay. Egypt is a wonderful adventure. Ancient landscapes, gods, legends and dusty treasures abound. You can feel like an adventurer just by diving into a souk. Our favourite adventure, however, was travelling from Luxor to Cairo on the sleeper train.

Luxor is the jewel in Egypt’s tourism crown. There are many ways to see it’s famous tombs and temples. The most exhausting being a traditional tour, on foot. The most magical, taking to the skies in one of Magic Horizon’s Hot Air Balloons!

I have nothing against any accommodation option (although I may skip camping in deepest, darkest winter). I think that, of all of them, hostels have the worst reputation and I would love to change the mind of… Continue reading Why Staying in Hostels is NOT as Bad as You Think
