Another island hop in the Philippines (read our other island hopping flight here) meant another small flight for Flying Fluskey. Between Busuanga (Coron) to Caticlan (for Boracay) we opted to take the bijou airline Air Juan. These guys have little land planes and also operate sea planes on some of their routes (sadly, not on ours).
It’s January 2018 and it’s time to head east again. Ah Asia! This time we are off to the Philippines, via Hong Kong. This week, on 22nd March 2017, my Virgin Atlantic plane was hit by lightning, which was very normal. We returned to Gatwick, which was not. What happened? Is lightning dangerous? Will I finally get the right things out of the overhead locker!?
£390 return to Sri Lanka? And on Emirates!? And confirmed!!? A no brainer! We booked that evening.
